Back to School ~

    The time is here, another school year is beginning. So, whether you’re in jr. high, high school, or college, first, second, third, or fourth year, online or in person, there are always new people to meet, experiences to be lived, and lessons to be learned.

     Whatever school looks like for you, I hope that as this new season begins you can look forward to it and be filled with gratitude. Life cannot and will not always be like a summer break, so we must learn to appreciate the structure and discipline that school affords us.

     As I graduated high school this past May, I look back with appreciation for my education because it has helped me to understand the world around me better and has given me opportunities to explore more of what I love. Through schooling I have developed character such as diligence, hard work, and perseverance, which has enabled me to push through things that I never thought possible.

     May this year bring you much enjoyment and fulfillment in your academics. May you rise above difficulties and become the better for it. When things are easy, may you not slack but push yourself to excellence. Whether you are an A student or a C student, I pray you will give it your all, never less than your best. That is the only way you can see what you are capable of with the gifts and understanding God has given you.

     “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17
